Mistella Blanco white port style
Mistella wines are a traditional dessert style wine from Spain. These wines are “Port like” but have higher residual sugar levels. After processing the grapes at harvest, the juice is fortified with grape brandy immediately after the onset of fermentation. The wine is then aged in barrels for a minimum of two years to allow integration of the Brandy and juice.
Produced from our Riesling grapes, this fortified wine has been aged in 30 gallon whiskey barrels for over two years. Creamy butterscotch and bourbon flavors dominate the palate in this one-of-a-kind white dessert wine.

2015 was an ideal year to grow Viognier in the Umpqua Valley. The result is a full bodied , dry, tropical styte wine big enough for any red wine drinker. Pineapple, passion fruit, and kiwi dominate the nose with just a touch of wood lingering in the back. Fermented in a combination of stainless steel, neutral oak, and new French oak with Acacia barrel heads adds a nice creamy mouth feel to the Viognier.
